Profile

Pierre Bester is co-founder of Adfen International, a company committed to enabling corporate executives to be as effective as possible in their personal and professional lives. Pierre is renowned for his knowledge and expertise on the Enneagram model of human behaviour in his field of work and is a qualified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, USA.

He co-developed the Adfen E-Scale which is becoming widely used by coaches and facilitators globally. He also leads Enneagram training courses and E-Scale Accreditation Programmes for coaches and facilitators who wish to use the E-Scale in their work. The E-Scale is being used throughout Africa, as well as in the UK, Poland, Jamaica and the USA.

Pierre has a valued long association with the Centre for Coaching (at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town) as a facilitator and coach and co-designed leadership development programmes for UCT that runs in a modular fashion in multi-nationals. The E-Scale was incorporated into these programmes and he is currently facilitating the workshops throughout East, West and Southern Africa.

Pierre Bester has many years of experience as a business leadership trainer and life coach working with top executives and middle management. With 15 years of experience in the psychometric assessment field, Pierre has spesialised in assessing coachee potential and putting tailormade developmental programmes together for each individual client.

He has co-designed and implemented programmes, ranging from integrated leadership and team to personal development interventions. The world renowned Enneagram, a powerful tool of personal transformation, lies at the heart of Adfen’s programmes. He also uses the Enneagram in corporate coaching programmes and has extensive experience of individual coaching, as well as the running of coaching circles.
